The Terms.
Clearly Stated.

These terms govern the use of the Valuedate website, the materials we publish and the services we deliver under engagement.

By accessing our site or contracting our services, you accept the terms below.

Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

Using this website, our documentation or any Valuedate service constitutes acceptance of the terms set out here, together with any engagement-specific agreement signed between the parties.

2. Scope of Services

Valuedate provides advisory, engineering and managed services around data, analytics and AI. The precise scope, deliverables and acceptance criteria of any engagement are defined in a written statement of work.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — text, visuals, frameworks and methods — remains the property of Valuedate and may not be reproduced, redistributed or used commercially without prior written consent.

4. Client Deliverables

Deliverables produced inside a contracted engagement are transferred to the client as defined in the relevant statement of work. Background intellectual property, reusable accelerators and generic methods remain with Valuedate.

5. Confidentiality

Information shared during scoping, delivery or operations is treated as confidential. Valuedate applies need-to-know access and professional secrecy across all team members and partners involved in an engagement.

6. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR and our Privacy Policy. When acting as a processor on behalf of a client, Valuedate operates under a documented data processing agreement.

7. Acceptable Use

The website and any services provided may not be used to attempt unauthorized access, to interfere with availability, to reverse engineer proprietary components, or for any unlawful purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

Valuedate is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of public content on this website. Liability within a contracted engagement is defined and capped in the corresponding agreement.

9. Third-Party Content

Some pages may link to external resources. Valuedate does not control and is not responsible for the content, policies or practices of third-party websites referenced here.

10. Changes to the Terms

These terms may be updated to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements or operational practices. The version published on this page is the one in force.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent courts of Lisbon, without prejudice to mandatory rules of jurisdiction.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms can be addressed to the Valuedate team through the contact channels published on this website.
